BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System. The BIOS ( sometimes called CMOS ) is the program that controls the computer boot process. the BIOS is designed to identify and initialize processor ,Memory, Hard drives,optical drives and other hardware in the motherboard.Every motherboard is supplied with a specific range of chipset settings that are designed by the motherboard manufacturer.
How to Access BIOS
A common Way to access the BIOS settings is by pressing the F2 or Delete Key in the Keyboard .
Press F9 to set defaults values.
Press F10 to save setting you have made in BIOS and Exit.
If Your PC does not boot after making Changes in the BIOS settings. you need to perform a BIOS recovery.
Updating the BIOS
BIOS updating of your computer with newer BIOS version To solve specific problems that you affecting For Example : when we working on our computer some times the DVD OR HDD drive not detecting the BIOS So you need to open the Cabinet and Reconnect the power cable of the DVD OR HDD drive to detect the bios. We cannot open the cabinet again and again for make the BIOS detect the drive.So We need to Update the BIOS with newer one . Check your motherboard manufacture Website for the Latest BIOS Update. First Check Your Motherboard BIOS Version.
