There are Many Reason that a Computer Speaker Not Working Properly . Before replacing the Speaker with new one Please Go through the common issues Listed below.

High Or Low Volume
This Problem occur due to the volume controller on the Speaker system is Damaged also we cannot change the Volume to High to Low OR Low to High. replace the damaged volume controller may fix the problem. Also check the Volume of the Computer . you can do this by click on the Speaker Icon in the Taskbar . Make Sure the Volume is Set to High or Low.
Speaker Led Light are ON but not Sound.

Accidentally Mute the Volume
Some keyboards are comes with multimedia keys that helps you Play/Pause , Or Even you can adjust the Volume By pressing the Volume + - Keys Beside the Play/Pause Key on keyboard also you can find a Button which has Speaker icon marked cross. sometimes we accidentally press this Key on the Keyboard Cause the Speaker has no output or no sound from it. You can Solve it by pressing the Mute key on Keyboard Again or Click on the Speaker icon on Taskbar .Check the image Below.
Speaker Power Cable is Damaged
If The Speaker is not turning on First you need to make sure that you have connected the Speaker Power Cable to the Switch Board Properly. Second check that the Speaker Power Cable is Damaged If it is Damaged Replace it with new one.
Sound Driver Not Installed on your Computer Properly.
When we installed a Fresh version or newer version of Operating system we need to install the Driver files in-order to make all the device work properly. In Older Version of Windows like Windows XP we need to install the Driver Files Separately. In newer Versions of Windows like Windows Vista ,Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, the driver files are Automatically installed on some Motherboards ,So no need to install the Driver File Again .You need to make Sure that the Sound Driver is properly installed on your Computer. Follow the below steps.
Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound,Video and Game controller.
IF no Driver File is installed , Install the Sound Driver Files From the Driver CD provided With The Motherboard. If you Don't have any Driver CD Just Download the Driver Pack Solution from drp.su
On-board Or Additional Sound Card is Not Working.
On-board Sound card is not working well , it may be due to the Missing Sound Driver or Motherboard is Complaint. After adding the Additional Sound Card there is No Output it may be due to the Compatibility Issue with Motherboard or Sound Card Driver is Not Compatible with Operating System Or Sound Driver is Missing . you can fix it by installing the Required driver files that Compatible with the Operating System and Motherboard. If the problem persist After Doing all these things ..? We Recommend you to Replace the Motherboard.
