Have you ever notice that when you install a fresh Windows 7 operating system and some applications , after a while you can see your drive become full show Red bar . this happen due to the Huge size of the application or games that you installed on the drives or Too much Junk files in the Hard disk Or HDD partition problem.
Here is the simple method to find out which Folder / Files taking too much space on HDD.
you need to download the program called WinDirStat , this small application may help you .
After Downloading the application Open it . Then you will get the Option to Choose drive Here We choose C : Drive . Choose the drive which show Red bar to find out which File / Folder hogging too much space on Hard disk. Click OK
Next it will Scan the Drive.
After Scanning it will show the Result , You can See that the Folders are arranged by the basis of how much space they are consuming and also show an extension list of file give what type of files inside each folder. and give a graphical view at bottom which highlight the content of you files in the drive with colored block.
Below are the thing you should do to make you HDD run Smoothly.
- Delete Unnecessary Junk files . it is Recommend you to use C Cleaner for Removing junk files.
- Defragment your Hard disk .
- do not copy / install too much file to C : Drive.
We Recommend you do not copy lots of files to the C : Drive this will make you system Boot slow and application opening time may reduce to lower than before.
